actually i understand what ur saying but i kind of disagree. i dunno if u’ve seen the next episodes but i think what mark wanted to do is for brooke to find closure herself. And for her not to be dependent on someone else to get her through this because she’s one of the strongest most dependent characters. So she had to face her attacker alone. By doing it alone she broke the victim kind of image which made her role more interesting. her personality had to grow and to be more deep
