Getting Ex Back – The First Thing You Must Do

Breakups are tough. You go through a period of bliss in your relationship with the “best person in the world” until all the sudden, things no longer click. A few harsh words… a few bad decisions… and all the sudden, you are left home crying, wondering about “getting ex back.” Many say to just let it go and move on to the next person. This is all well and good… but in some cases, it was just some stupid mistake that ended what could have been a wonderful relationship.

Many times, a breakup occurs over an argument over the silliest thing. If you are not ready to move on yet, read on. I will reveal the first thing you must do to bring back your ex.

No matter if you feel this way or not, the first thing you must do is to tell your ex that you think the decision was a good idea. Tell him/her that you agree with the decision to breakup. You may be thinking “How in the world am can I be ‘getting ex back’ if I am telling them I agree with the breakup?” There are several reasons, but the chief reason is that it is better than the alternative.

Begging your ex to Get Back Together with you… relentless calling… massive text messaging and emails… just shows that you are needy and really does more harm than good to the relationship. Your ex will more than likely get annoyed. So before you ruin all your lines of communication… agree with the person that the breakup was the right idea.

Some of you may be thinking “ohhh no… that really WAS a bad idea… but I’ve already done it!” While this does make getting back together difficult, there still may be a way to “getting ex back.” Now apologies will probably mean nothing to your ex. So you can use the two feelings that are trigger interest in all human beings: curiosity and self-interest. This will generally make your ex return your call. But beware! You are going to need to know WHAT to say when he or she calls back!

If you have a plan (and please don’t use this without one!), simply call your ex and say “Hey (ex’s name), I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate what you did for me. Call me because I would like to thank you in person.” This triggers both curiosity AND self-interest. Simply think of something that your ex has done that you can appreciate, and have a plan, and you could be well on your way to making fireworks!

This is just the FIRST suggestion that I have for “getting ex back.” This will help stop all the things you are doing to hurt your chances of getting back with your ex. Trying to save your relationship can be frustrating and a difficult thing to do. There’s always the worry that you could make one wrong move and end up losing the person you love forever.

Understanding why you should accept the breakup and how it can help you save your relationship can definitely help you. The main reason is it will give your ex time to miss you again. Your ex will also respect you more.

There’s a chance that they’re upset and mad at you right now. Especially if you have been calling them and nagging about getting back together.

Counterintuitive Technique #2:

The other technique that you should use right now is to eliminate all of your communication with them. You are probably at the point of closing your browser right now. Hold on! This technique will really work for you. It will help you accept the breakup and will show your ex that you are serious.

When you’re not communicating, you’re allowing your ex the time they need to miss you. And it also gives them time to get over the reasons for the breakup. This will also be good for your mental health and will help you be able to think clearly.
